Kale Chips Recipe, Baked

Kale Chips Recipe, Baked & Delicious

Makes 2 servings

Per serving = 120 calories, 5 g Fat, 17 g Carbs, 4 g Protein, 5 g Fiber


  • One large bunch of kale; remove the stems
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or olive oil spray
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese (optional although recommended)

To Prepare:

  1. Preheat the oven to 225 degrees.
  2. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper for easy clean-up.
  3. Spray olive oil on the parchment paper.
  4. Place kale leaves in a single layer, spray with olive oil.
  5. Mix spices in a small bowl and using a small funnel put the spices in a spice jar for easier sprinkling.
  6. Sprinkle evenly on kale.
  7. Bake 12 minutes, shake, and turn the kale.  Bake for another 5-10 minutes longer until crisp.
  8. Sprinkle with parmesan.

Now get to snacking on this healthy treat!
