Kale Chips Recipe, Baked & Delicious
Makes 2 servings
Per serving = 120 calories, 5 g Fat, 17 g Carbs, 4 g Protein, 5 g Fiber
Ingredients:
- One large bunch of kale; remove the stems
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or olive oil spray
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese (optional although recommended)
To Prepare:
- Preheat the oven to 225 degrees.
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper for easy clean-up.
- Spray olive oil on the parchment paper.
- Place kale leaves in a single layer, spray with olive oil.
- Mix spices in a small bowl and using a small funnel put the spices in a spice jar for easier sprinkling.
- Sprinkle evenly on kale.
- Bake 12 minutes, shake, and turn the kale. Bake for another 5-10 minutes longer until crisp.
- Sprinkle with parmesan.
